Monarte Squid Dial Options
Squid Diver - Monarte Watches
"The dial of our Monarte Squid is a pure work of art, representing one of the most time-intensive aspects of our design process. Our initial guilloché dial was crafted using a hand-operated lathe machine, and then meticulously replicated by a CNC machine to achieve the perfect structure. Subsequently, after numerous attempts, we succeeded in creating our triple-layered dial with the impeccable finish and high level of detail that we envisioned. Have you discovered the hidden inscriptions on the dial?
While preserving the traditional silhouette of the Squid’s case, we’ve also added some exceptional detailing. The case measures 40.5mm in diameter and maintains a slim profile at just 11.4mm thick, even with 300m water resistance and ISO 6425 standard compliance. It features a seamless transition from polished lugs to brushed surfaces. The case is made from high-quality 316L stainless steel, with a refined production process that enhances its scratch resistance and shine. Crowning the case is a one-piece stainless steel bezel, boasting an impressive sunray finish. Comfortable, sturdy, flawless.
The fully articulating bracelet of the Monarte Squid is a work of art in itself. Double-sided screws ensure safety, while quick-release pins allow for easy strap changes. The bracelet tapers from 20mm down to 18mm. A brushed surface keeps the watch looking clean, while the middle link’s polished edges add a touch of shine to the bracelet. The Squid, embodying the essence of a true diver’s watch, features a clasp designed with a diver’s extension. This allows for smooth, on-the-fly adjustments while it’s secured on your wrist, ensuring seamless adaptation to the conditions underwater or changes in wrist size on land. For enhanced comfort and a tailored fit, we’ve incorporated three micro-adjustments into the clasp. This attention to detail ensures that the Squid can accommodate any wrist size with precision, providing an impeccable fit for all-day wear.
The Monarte Squid is available in two distinct versions: the Limited Edition, featuring an exhibition caseback, and the Regular Edition, with a closed caseback. Both options come with screw-down casebacks that provide water resistance up to 300 meters. The Limited Edition boasts an exhibition caseback complemented by a triple anti-reflective coated sapphire crystal. Conversely, the Regular Edition features a solid steel caseback, elegantly embossed with the tophat Squid.
The Monarte Squid is equipped with the fully decorated Top-grade ETA 2824 movement as its foundation. However, we’ve taken further steps to maximize value for you. Each Squid’s movement is finely tuned to achieve a precision of +/- 2 seconds per day. Every watch is subjected to a rigorous 72-hour Quality Control process, and we test all our movements in six positions. And to top it off, we’ve added an 18k gold-plated rotor adorned with the Monarte branding and Côtes de Genève on the limited editions."
