Henry Archer Watches

"We are a Danish company based in Aarhus, which designs and produces watches where quality, good craftsmanship, and design come together. The name “Henry Archer” is a direct translation of the name of our product designer Henrik Schødt, who comes from a background in the 3D and product-visualization industry. By combining state-of-the-art design tools with quality watchmaking, we create unique watches with a distinctive Scandinavian design aesthetic built to stand the test of time. Every detail matters when creating something truly original. In our design work, we create custom molds for everything – from the dial, indices, case, crown – and even the date wheel. Our high degree of attention to detail helps to ensure that the initial design vision is brought to life without any loss of detail. Because originality is important. We are proud of our Danish design heritage, which is the source of inspiration behind our designs.

Danish design is characterized by a clear connection between function, design, and the use of quality materials. Together with our passion for quality watchmaking, these keywords define our company’s DNA. We strive to create unique timepieces with a classic yet timeless design that will stand the test of time. Our design philosophy is rooted in the 1920’s “Bauhaus” design philosophy, where form follows function. In our opinion, a great design is not purely limited to aesthetics. That is why we only use high-quality materials, such as sapphire crystal, in our products– instead of cheaper and less durable alternatives, like mineral glass. We use movements from leading manufacturers such as Ronda, Seiko and Miyota. Our leather straps are manufactured in Tuscany, Italy and are made from the finest vegetable tanned full-grain leather. We wouldn’t expect less from a quality watch. Neither should you."
