Revelot R10 Admiral GMT

"For the past three years, we have been tirelessly working on the Revelot R10 project with the goal of creating a battleship-inspired dive watch. Countless ideas were exchanged, and numerous prototypes were created until we found the perfect design elements for the watch. Despite the challenges we faced during the R&D process, our passion for the R10 project remained steadfast. We are thrilled to finally unveil the result of our hard work - the Revelot R10 Admiral GMT. The dive watch takes its inspiration from the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), a surface vessel designed for military operations near shores. The Admiral GMT shares the same philosophy and design language, making it an ideal timepiece for near shore activities with 200M water resistance with a caller/office GMT feature. At the heart of the Admiral GMT beats the new Seiko NH34 automatic, a workhorse mechanical automatic movment. While the watch is not designed to be a true traveler GMT, we’ve always intended it to be primarily a dive watch with a GMT feature on the side. As such, we’ve opted for a dive bezel over a GMT bezel making it the perfect companion for the casual traveler. At Revelot, we always strive to make great entry level watches that are fun, affordable and packed with value and the Admiral GMT is no exception.

With references to the LCS’s angular design, the case is octagon shaped with a 4pm crown position in a brush metal finish 316L Stainless Steel for comfort and durability. Knurled finishes on both the crown and the bezel for maximum grip and function with a brushed ceramic insert generously filled with Swiss Super-Luminova. To top it off, a chamfered sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating on the underside. Spilling over to the hands and dial, modeled after the shape of the LCS, 2 chamfered hands with mirror on the side and brush on top with a generous dash of Super-Luminova, depending on variant, the second hand and indexes will mimic a radar like animation during the dark, sweeping and scanning for enemy ships. At the center of the dial lies a whirlpool pattern representing the ocean with sunray or full-lumed options available. To keep the dial clean, 24 hour markers for the GMT are printed on the slanted rehaut as a secondary time teller.

The bracelet of the Admiral GMT will be a 5-piece chamfered link in brush finish with straight end links with quick release spring bars. Yes, fitted end links would be ideal choice however we decided that the bracelet will be available for ala carte purchase for any 22mm lug to lug watches. The best feature about this bracelet will be the CNC milled glide lock micro-adjustment clasp for instant adjustment without using any tool. The bracelets will be secured with a pin & collar system instead of screws for securityreasons because screws tend to come loose on rare occasions risking the watch falling to the ground. The bracelets will be secured with a pin & collar system instead of screws for security reasons because screws tend to come loose on rare occasions risking the watch falling to the ground. The watch will have 200M water resist with double o-rings on the screw lock crown sealed with a solid caseback instead of an exhibition caseback for better consistency in waterproofing with a whirlpool artwork and the Revelot star. All variants are generously equipped with Swiss Super-Luminova Lume with options such as C3 (mint green), BGW9 (White/Blue) or Old-radium (Cream).
