"Retter Watches was founded two years ago by Deep Ghosh. Having been a watch enthusiast for several years, he recognized a gap in the market. “There’s your average sub-$1000 private label watch – mediocre in quality but somewhat passable. Then, there’s your high-end, luxury Swiss watch, often reaching 5 figures. Until now, there was no in-between. But there’s no need to settle anymore – affordable luxury is finally here.” The Retter 22 was conceived as a fusion of design elements from some of our all-time favorite watches. The case design takes cues from Gerald Genta’s distinctive design language, while the bracelet takes inspiration from Jorg Hysek’s masterpiece, the Vacheron 222. Fittingly so, the moniker is also derived from the 222 (as well as the year of launch).

Retter watches are fabricated and assembled at our atelier in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Master watchmakers and craftsmen painstakingly hand finish every part of the watch, and regulate each movement to ensure the quality, durability and accuracy of each watch. From the very beginning, it was our goal to compete with flagship Swiss watch brands at a fraction of the cost, and two years later, we've done exactly that. By relying upon a longer factory lead time and a higher minimum order quantity, we're able to offer the best possible prices for our timepieces. Despite all this, we always have been and always will be enthusiasts first; we are committed to offering the best possible product at the best possible price points, and as enthusiasts ourselves, we know what people want and how to give it to them.
